CONTRA

Remake

All the visuals and most of the music are the intellectual property of Konami. I remade the first level of Contra to learn the basics of working and making a game in a 2D C++ engine. I have no means for spreading and/or profiting of this remake, because this was for educational purposes only. The code, on the other hand, is completely written by my interpretation of the in-game mechanics and behaviours. The result can be seen in the video below
